simple skincare,

beautifully made

at poth, our business model is intentional, but it isn't easy.

we're independently owned and funded, meaning we don't have venture capital or private equity funding to burn.

both COVID and tariffs have raised the cost of producing products to record highs and they're not going back down.

the USPS has become unreliable, so we use UPS even though it's more expensive.

and Meta (Facebook / Instagram) ads have become extremely expensive due to lower consumer spending power and more advertiser competition. on average, more money goes to Meta for new orders than the cost of the product and shipping combined.

we believe in

price transparency

poth products are made in the USA, which means the quality is high but so is the cost.

if our unit economics don't line up, we go out of business.

we believe not only in marketing our products honestly, but in being transparent about our costs.

we only make money

if customers are happy

the business model doesn't work unless customers come back for more than one purchase and, ideally, tell their friends.
